T6-52 RESISTANCE BATTERY is intended for loading power supply units and for limiting and regulation of alternating and direct currents in the experimental, measuring and testing field. Many different tests of switches, cables, plugs, socket outlets, vehicle connectors, vehicle inlets, connectors, lamp holders, … can be performed.
Freestanding unit with 24 pieces of fixed wire tube resistors, each having resistance of 0,57 Ohm. Resistors are installed in 4×6 field levels for better air circulation. For bigger power dissipation battery can be air-cooled by (built-in) 2 powerful blowers. The battery is equipped with different types of bridges by which different serial and/or parallel connections for accomplished to achieve requested resistance/current adjustment. Resistors can be also selected according to customer requirements.
Free-standing skeleton made of rectangular anodized sectional aluminum profiles, with 4 swivel rollers, two of them with breaks. All sides are covered with aluminum sheets, powder-coated with black color (to enable better heat absorption and cooling), so it is Non‑sensitive, scratch-resistant
All parts of the mechanism are corrosion protected.

Picture shows how it is possible to change different kinds of serial/parallel connections of resistors to achieve different currents/resistances. Bridges/links are fixed with M8 robust screws,that also enable connection of high current cables with larger cross-sections.
ONLY QUALIFIED PERSONEL THAT UNDERSTAND THE HAZARDS CAN HANDLE THE RESISTANCE BATTERY.
ALL PARTS OF HOUSING CAN GET VERY HOT SO DO NOT TOUCH IT TO AVOID HAZARD OF BURNS.
ALL CONNECTION TERMINALS ARE EQUIPPED WITH DOORS TO PROTECT THE PERSONEL AGAINST CONTACT WITH LIVE PARTS. BEFORE ENERGIZING THE BATTERY, THE DOORS SHOULD BE ALWAYS CLOSED.
ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE CABLES (DE-ENERGIZE THE CIRCUIT) BEFORE OPENING THE DOORS.
EXTERNAL GROUNDING OF APPROPRIATE CROSS-SECTION SHALL BE ALWAYS CONNECTED TO GROUNDING TERMINAL ON THE HOUSING.
